Thursday

Isn’t EVERYONE a foodie on Thanksgiving?

Today is Thanksgiving.

We gratefully assemble with loved ones around dining tables to break bread and recount our many blessings. We reminisce about Thanksgivings in the past and fondly remember those who are no longer with us. We dig heartily into delicious foods, such as roasted turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie.

And the holiday season officially begins.

Tomorrow, we'll put up our Christmas trees. We'll start addressing holiday greeting cards. And many will race out to Black Friday sales. In a few days, we'll crank up our computers for Cyber Monday deals.

But for this moment, let's enjoy Thanksgiving.

OK, this isn't creepy ... AT ALL ... !

What’s your Thanksgiving personality? Maybe each of us has one.

I found a blog quiz on this topic. Possible results included:

  • Foodie
  • Rebel
  • Shopper
  • Social
  • Thankful

That list sort of intrigued me. Just for fun, I took the little test.

Here are my findings from this Thanksgiving blog quiz:

You love Thanksgiving, as long as it's done right. And that means no funky green jello salads.
Thanksgiving is all about the food for you, and you like it to be top notch. There's a good chance you do all the cooking... that is unless you dine out.

Your ideal Thanksgiving would include your favorite dishes, as well as a few funky new experimental favorites.
And it would also include friends and family who can appreciate good food as much as you do. No instant mashed potatoes lovers welcome!

Try it yourself. See what turns up.

Happy Thanksgiving.

And remember, you are what you eat, even on Turkey Day.
